By improving the Probot™ controller settings, it makes the automated inspection easier than ever, including IRIS inspections.

It also introduces click-to-index functions, allowing the use of a single encoder for raster scanning large surfaces, as well as MFL capabilities for inspection of pipes OD surfaces, tank walls and other flat surfaces, through the use of a dedicated intuitive setup wizard

Fast Screening and Corrosion Assessment with Surface MFL

Until now, MFL pipe scanners were mostly limited to using sound signals to notify the inspector of the presence of a corroded zone in a pipe. Recording capabilities were extremely limited and very user-dependent.  Magnifi’s new surface MFL capabilities bring this method to the needs and requirements of the 21st century by enabling recording capabilities and 2-D imaging via easy-to-interpret c-scans.
