Because We Care

We like to think differently and focus our efforts on building more than just a business. Striving to positively impact our customers, competitors, employees and the communities where we operate, we take our social responsibility very seriously.

Our Foundation Giving back to the community has always been a part of who we are at Eddyfi. We strive to create a positive impact on our communities, whether through our products and technologies or through the engagement of our people. As part of this, every year, all full-time employees are given 20 hours of paid work time to volunteer in their communities.

Community Month In addition, we organise Community Month which typically happens in September with activities organized across our global offices. While our main focus for this is on environmental causes, we've also tackled projects like refurbishing youth and community centres, helping out at food banks, and donating blood.

The causes we support are focused on these three areas:

Historical Brands

Founded in 2009 to push the limits of eddy current array (ECA) technology, Eddyfi quickly became a reference in electromagnetic NDT, expanding from surface inspection in nuclear and power generation to oil & gas, heavy industries, and aerospace. Following its creation, Eddyfi grew through strategic acquisitions, integrating leading technologies and expertise from a series of innovative companies. Silverwing, established in 1983, brought its pioneering Magnetic Flux Leakage (MFL) equipment and the world-leading Floormap® floor scanner. Teletest, founded in 1997 by TWI, contributed long-range ultrasonic testing (LRUT) solutions for pipe inspection. TSC, formed in 1984 by University College London experts, added the Alternating Current Field Measurement (ACFM®) technique and offshore inspection capabilities. M2M, created in 2003, strengthened Eddyfi’s portfolio with cutting-edge ultrasonic phased array systems, including the Gekko® portable flaw detector. Inuktun, founded in 1989, provided industry-leading Multi-Mission Modular (IM3™) systems and Remote Visual Inspection (RVI) technology for confined, hazardous, and underwater environments. Together, these acquisitions form the foundation of Eddyfi Technologies’ comprehensive NDT solutions.
