This is an excellent and rare opportunity to become part of our Production Team at Eddyfi Technologies based at our Swansea site.

The Warehouse Apprentice will be learn all the skills needed to keep our inventory organised, ensuring all orders are picked correctly, issued to the relevant departments and ensure that all goods are booked in/out correctly on the ERP System.

Full training will be provided in conjunction with a formal Apprenticeship, Fork Truck Drivers license and NVQ qualifications, so you will gain valuable experience and qualifications to get your career off the ground.

During the apprenticeship, you will learn the skills required to :

  • Book in all incoming orders and ensure the ERP System is accurately updated
  • Despatch all outgoing orders and ensure the ERP System is accurately updated
  • Operate forklift trucks for loading/unloading and perform daily checks
  • Conduct inventory checks as and when required
  • Pick incoming customer orders from Production
  • Book in and check consumption of internal production work orders into the ERP system
  • Assist the Production team and Product Development Team with finding/issuing specific parts
  • Ensure the Stores area is clean, tidy and organised on a daily basis
  • Cover for the Stores Controller as and when required
  • Work as part of the Stores and Production Team to achieve Targets and KPI’s
  • Ensure that Company Quality Policy and Procedures are adhered to
  • Ensure that Company Health & Safety Policies and Procedures are adhered to
  • Some manual lifting will be required
  • Perform any other duties as required by the Warehouse Team Leader

Specialised Skills / Knowledge:

  • Previous experience of working in a Warehouse/Store environment would be advantageous but not essential as full training will be provided.
  • Previous experience of using an ERP System would be advantageous but not essential as full training will be provided.
  • Counterbalance forklift truck experience advantageous but not essential as training will be provided.
  • Good Oral and written Communication Skills
  • Ability to interact with people at all levels
  • Ability to work well individually with limited supervision as well as part of a team
  • Highly motivated and flexible with a ‘can-do’ attitude
  • Must be able to work accurately and efficiently, paying special attention to detail
  • Working knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Access, Outlook)
