ZMC2
The Eddyfi Technologies' ZMC2 drives mechanical scanners and provides accurate encoding of probe data position. The ZMC2 is a small, lightweight, and versatile motor control unit that can handle one- and two-axes scanners. Its encoder output is compatible with all Eddyfi Technologies' ultrasonic and phased array ultrasonic testing, or PAUT, equipment.
Fully programmable 2-axis servo drive The GALIL architecture allows for an almost infinite number of scanning patterns: one line, bidirectional, raster, helical and more.
Rugged & fanless design Compact and robust, this motor controller can be deployed even in contaminated areas since there is no heat vent.
Remote control Because you always need to be in command, a fully capable remote control is included with the motion control unit: move the scanner, start a sequence, select the appropriate speed and more!
Compatibility This new generation is compatible with previous units for an easy upgrade of your system.
ZMC4
The motors are controlled by the new ZMC4 motor controller, powered by two batteries of the same type as those used in TOPAZ. Consequently, only one type of battery is used for the complete inspection platform. Motors can be either brush or brushless.
