POSITION OVERVIEW

Eddyfi Technologies is looking for autonomous and dedicated application specialist to become part of the product management team. Application specialist responsibilities include analyzing opportunities, supporting the Sales Team, troubleshooting problems and giving technical training. A successful application specialist combines great autonomy, dedication to client satisfaction and good technical knowledge of the products. On daily basis, the application specialist will have to be in close contact with Sales Managers all around the world and serve as an entry point to the company’s internal resource. He will have to find answers to technical problems either by himself or by relying on the engineers and the project managers. The application specialist will also be required to give technical training to clients and contribute to the creation of training documents.

RESPONSABILITIES

  • Analyse and propose solution for complex client problems;
  • Prepare specification documents for the project management team;
  • Work as a bridge between the sales team and the project management team;
  • Support sales team with technical questions or inquiries;
  • Supply necessary information to the inside sales so they can process quotes;
  • Support client with any technical difficulties either online or in person;
  • Develop the training documentation for products.

REQUIREMENTS

  • At least 5 years of relevant experience in robotics;
  • Basic knowledge of electronics and mechanic concepts;
  • Experience with Salesforce, Excel, Word, Outlook is a strong asset;
  • Robotics related academic degree is an asset;
  • Must be available to travel 2-6 weeks annually.
