Eddyfi Technologies is redefining pipeline inspection with WeldXprt™, a complete solution for automated ultrasonic testing (AUT) of pipeline girth welds. Supporting Zonal Discrimination and Total Focusing Method, WeldXprt delivers accurate, repeatable, and code-compliant results at the highest production rates. The system is now commercially available for global deployment.
Quebec, Canada, April 30, 2025 – Eddyfi Technologies today announced the full commercial release of WeldXprt™, a comprehensive, field-ready AUT solution engineered specifically for pipeline girth weld (PGW) inspection.
Built from the ground up through collaboration with major industry players, WeldXprt integrates advanced software, the EMERALD phased array instrument, and a new motorized scanner —delivering what Eddyfi calls a “full circle solution for pipeline girth weld integrity”.
Designed to streamline the entire workflow—from calibration to acquisition, assisted analysis, and code-compliant reporting—WeldXprt helps operators perform more inspections in less time, with greater consistency and confidence.
